The Chief Justice, Her Ladyship Justice Georgina Theodora Wood has observed that the current state of Ghana's courts has seriously hampered the effective and efficient administration of justice in the country. According to her, the importance of the Courts in the nation cannot be overstated.

The National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) is financially solid to meet the increasing demand for health delivery in the country. What was meant to be a week of celebration for students of the School of Hygiene, Tamale, turned into mourning, when the vehicle they were using for a float run over one of the students, killing her in the process. The incident happened at Kanvili, a suburb of Tamale, about 300 metres away from the school.
