25 people of secessionist group arrested over road blocks

25 members of the Western Togoland have been arrested by the Ghana Police Service and the Ghana Armed Forces.

Early this morning, travellers were left stranded in some parts of Volta Region because some of the roads have been by the Homeland Study Foundation also known as Western Togoland.

Tefle, Tsopoli and Juapong were all block which is believed to have been blocked at dawn.

The Police has sent a caution to travellers to be vigilant on these roads on Facebook saying “Good morning Ghana, commuters to and from Accra to Ho, Aveyime, Adidome, Mepe, Akuse, Sogakope and Aflao are likely to experience traffic due to security operations within those areas.”
