2 robbers have been killed after a burglary at a Renault/Hyundai vehicle dealership store at Atico Joint along the Kaneshie-Odorkor highway.
The deceased were members of the armed team which caught a cashier at about 5:30 pm Wednesday at the center as well as seized her bag including the day’s sales.
While the event unravelled, workers from the Accra Regional Cops Command moved in bringing about an exchange of shooting.
According to the cops, two of the burglars maintained gunfire wounds and were hurried to the Police Hospital for treatment where they were pronounced dead on arrival.
One of the deceased robbers was later recognized as Bright Nyarko, 24 years, a previous employee of the business while the other is yet to be identified.
Nevertheless, the other members of the syndicate took off the scene and also are still at large.
One of the victims’ bag consisted of an automatic pistol and GHS3,650.00 money.
Both bodies have been deposited at Police Medical facility’s Morgue for preservation, recognition and autopsy.
