EC to meet IPAC today

The Electoral Commission will later this morning be meeting with the Inter-Party Advisory Committee on the issues raised in the exhibition of the voters register.

There have been complains about missing names in the ongoing exercise of the exhibition of the voters register. The National Democratic Congress have raised issues with and have accused the EC of disenfranchising its supporters.

Ashaiman, South Dayi and Jirapa has all reported of missing names in the provisional voters register of 7,000, 2,000 and 1500 respectively.

The meeting will consists of political parties, donor partners, civil society and the officials of the commission.
