The Economic Community of West Africa will be holding a summit today at the Peduase Lodge in the Eastern Region.
The agenda of the meeting is to discuss how to return Mali back to civilian rule after the military took over a few months ago.
Heads of States from the sub region will be coming hence some roads in Accra will be blocked for traffic. Some of the roads to be blocked are the Kotoka International Airport road known as the Accra-Tetteh-Quarshie-Adenta road. Kempiski, Opeibea, 37 military, National Theatre and Obasanjo road.
Presidents S.E. Patrice Talon of Benin, Roch Marc Christian Kabore of Burkina Faso, Jorge Carlos Fonseca of Cabo Verde, Alassane Ouattara of Cote d’Ivoire, Adama Barrow of The Gambiaand Alpha Conde of Guinea, Maro Sissoco Embalo of Guinea Bissau, George Manneh Weah of Liberia, Mahamadou Issoufou of Niger, MuhaMuhammadu Buhari of Nigeria and other heads will be coming.
The summit is expected to start at 9am this morning.
