The Odawna market near the Kwame Nkrumah interchange in Accra has been razed by fire.
The fire, according to eyewitnesses started around 1am on Wednesday, 18 November, 2020.
Personnel from the Police Service and Fire Service are at the scene to bring the situation under control.
Wares running into thousands of Ghana Cedis have been burnt.
The cause of the fire is yet to be known.
