Go home after voting- EC to electorates

The Electoral Commission has reminded Ghanaians to go back home after they cast their votes in the ongoing polls in the country.

The commission said there is no need to be loitering around after voting.

Voting has already begun with many waiting to cast their votes.

The exercise begun at 7am and will end at 5pm.

The EC however said electorates can return after voting is close to witness the counting process.

“Go to your Polling Station with your Voter ID card if you are a registered voter between 7am and 5pm to cast your vote then leave quietly. You may return to the Polling Station after 5pm to observe the counting of ballots,” the EC said in a tweet.
