Gov’t to recruit 22,063 health workers

Government is set to recruit 22,063 health workers into various health institutions across the country from November 2, 2020.

This was contained in a statement from the Ministry of Health detailing the recruitment schedule.

Pharmacist, pharmacy doctors, allied health professionals and the 2018 professional nurses with degrees, diplomas and certificate are those who will benefit from the recruitment.

The Graduate Unemployed Nurses and Midwives Association has welcomed moves by the Ministry of Health.

The National PRO of the group, Prince Henry in an interview said “I wouldn’t say we are much excited but we are working hand in hand with the ministry so we were expecting that by the end of the day we will get the postings. So we are grateful especially to our GRMA president and the director in charge at the Ministry of Health.”

The Association have been picketing at the ministry for sometime demanding financial clearance.
