Gov’t will not reply to Martin Amidu again regardless of what happens- Eugene Arhin

The Director of Communication at the Presidency, Eugene Arhin said government will not make any comments regarding the former Special Prosecutor, Martin Amidu.

He said the statement by the Secretary to the President, Nana Bediatuo Asante will be the only statement of the issue.

Mr. Arhin on Facebook said “The statement put out by the Secretary to the President, Nana Bediatuo Asante, which was addressed to the former Special Prosecutor, Mr Martin Amidu, will be the ONLY statement from the Presidency on this matter. The President is focused on delivering on his mandate, and securing #4MoreToDoMore on 7th December.”

Mr. Amidu in a resignation on Monday, November 16, 2020, cited a number of reasons including interference from the government , which informed his decision to resign.

But the President in a statement denied the allegations of Martin Amidu.
