The Former Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party, Nana Akomea has refuted claims that he is taking Hon. Yaw Buabeng Asamoah.
After addressing the press recently at one of the NPP’s press conference, the CEO of the State Transport Corporation (STC) said that a newspaper has reported that Mr. Buabeng has been asked to step aside for him to come and take over as the communications director.
This he said “ The newspaper quote no source whatsoever. Even the elementary step of speaking to me for verification is not taken. These newspapers are prime examples of very bad journalism.”
Nana Akomea also said he has no intention of assuming the office and believes Yaw Buabeng Asamoah can do the job.
“For the avoidance of doubt, l have no intention of assuming the position of director of communications for the NPP. Neither has the party approached me on any such appointment. I, indeed, do not need any appointment to take part in the communications of the party agenda towards elections 2020. These publications should be totally disregarded.” he said.
