Shasha Marley says he is really impressed by how government handle COVID-19 pandemic in the country.
He praised the President and the managers of the virus saying that Ghana had done a yeoman’s job by controlling the numbers as compared to other country’s numbers.
The Ghanaian reggae artiste said “I’ve been monitoring what’s going on in America and other countries. Ghana has done extremely well and for that matter, I must congratulate whoever is in place making sure these numbers are controlled. They’ve done amazingly well.”
The ‘Mata’ hitmaker said he took a break from music to focus on family but he is back on the scene with his new single ‘Tha Dawn’ from his album ‘Call to Duty’.
Shasha explained that the single was initiated by some Hawaiian COVID-19 frontline workers who wanted to use music album to raise money for front liners in Hawaii which he happens to be the only African on the album.
Shasha Marley was speaking in an interview on the Class Drive on Class91.3FM on Wednesday, 23 September 2020.
