After being drag to court for insulting and threatening a judge and later wrote a letter of apology, Kennedy Agyapong, Member of Parliament for Assin Central did not show up for court as expected on Monday, September 14, 2020.
The outspoken lawmaker said he could not come to court because the bailiff said he was not served personally but he has been ordered to appear in court for contempt on Friday, September 18, 2020.
Mr. Kennedy Agyapong was seen on his television station, NET2 where he was insulting a judge for deciding on a land case involving him without his knowledge. A warrant was served for Mr. Kennedy Agyapong to appear in court on Wednesday.
He later apologized in a letter to the Chief Justice, judges and magistrates.
