KIA records 16 cases of COVID-19

The Kotoka International Airport has recorded 16 cases of COVID-19 since it was reopened to traffic as part of measures to reopen borders.

In a press conference addressed by the Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah four out of the 16 have have admitted in the hospital whiles the rest are been treated at home.

Passengers arriving at the KIA are to pay $150 for a 30-minute PCR COVID-19 test to check the spread of the virus.

However the total number of COVID-19 cases is 45,655 and recoveries of 44,797.
