The Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG) has assured to set up a $10 billion job fund to sustain business owners as well as start-ups to help them establish their services.
Releasing his Party’s 2020 statement of belief under the theme “A Better Tomorrow” flagbearer of LPG, Kofi Akpaloo said this policy will eradicate hardship in Ghana if given the nod.
“We are setting up a $10 billion job fund which is going to help our young men and women coming out of universities and polytechnics who are going to do business to have the capital to start their businesses,” he said.
The manifesto of the LPG puts premium on employment, wellness, education, agriculture, sports as well as creative arts.
At the launch, the flagbearer, Kofi Akpaloo made a vibrant statement to end hardship when given the nod.
To name a few campaigns, Mr. Akpaloo guaranteed to regularize small-scale mining commonly called ‘galamsey’ in the nation.
In addition, the LPG leader assured to provide unemployed Ghanaians what he calls earnings assistance of GHS 400 every month if he’s chosen president on December 7.
On the other hand, running mate of Kofi Akpaloo, Margarete Obrine Sarfo claimed as a lady she will lobby for women empowerment.
According to her, women are an essential part of the nation which will certainly be her focus.
LPG joined Ghana’s politics in the run-up to the 2012 elections but has been incapable to partake in any type of general political elections.
Akpaloo is confident of winning this year’s election.
