The Vice Presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress, Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang has called on Ghanaians to eschew tribal politic because it is divisive and prevents the development of the country.
She said the NDC will not condone any tribal remarks which seeks to divide the country on tribal lines.
“No group of people will be tagged and marginalized under the next NDC administration led by John Mahama,” she said.
Prof. Naana expressing worries over the matter said instead dividing people through tribal lines we should co-exist in peace irrespective of our tribes.
She was speaking at Elmina in the Central Region on her first day of her six day tour of the region stressed politics should be issue based and not tribal based.
