Former President John Mahama has signed the book of condolence opened in honour of the founder of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), the late ex-president Jerry John Rawlings.
The NDC flagbearer was at the International Conference Centre on Monday, 16 November 2020, together with his wife, Lordina Mahama, to sign the book.
Also, Speaker of Parliament Prof Mike Oquaye, Chief Justice Kwesi Anin Yeboah among other Justices of the Supreme Court, were earlier at the venue to also honour the late statesman.
President Akufo-Addo and Vice-President Dr Mahamadu Bawumia were the first to sign the book on Friday, 13 November 2020.
According to a schedule released by the State Protocol Department, former President John Agyekum Kufuor and other state officials are expected to take their turn later today.
Former President Jerry John Rawlings passed away on Thursday morning, 12 November 2020 at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra.
Mr Rawlings was 73 years old.
