NE/R: Bawumia commits GHS20K for church building, makaranta at Gbingbani

Vice-President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has donated a sum of GHS10,000 each to help with the construction of a church building and Islamic school facility (Makaranta) for the people of Gbingbani in the Yunyoo district of the North East Region.

Dr Bawumia made the donation during a community interaction with the chiefs and people of Gbingbani.

The Vice-President hoped that the Church of Christ building and the Islamic school facility will be completed on time to enable his fellow Christians and Muslim students have a place to worship and learn, respectively.

The Vice-President also solicited their votes in the 7 December 2020 polls.

The Vice-President said the Akufo-Addo government’s prudent management of the bad economy it inherited has introduced meaningful policies such as Planting for Food and Jobs, One District-One Constituency, One Constituency-One Ambulance, NaBCo, Free SHS, among others.

“In four years, you have seen the difference between our government, the government of the NPP; and that of the NDC.

“Vote number 1 for President Akufo-Addo and the NPP MP to protect all these great policies impacting positively on many people’s lives,” Dr Bawumia noted.
