NPP calls on members to adhere to COVID-19 protocols

The New Patriotic Party has advised its members to strictly adhere to the safety protocols of COVID-19 such as the wearing of face masks, use of sanitizers, washing hands regularly and social distancing.

A statement signed by the party’s National Chairman, Freddie Blay, it instructed all party organizers to provide thermometer guns, veronica buckets and sanitizers at all party programmes so as the fight the pandemic.

“Leadership of the party at the various levels must also ensure strict adherence to the social distancing protocols and must make the wearing of facemasks mandatory for all members and at all times during party gatherings,” the statement said.

The party however pledged to support government’s effort to curb the virus.

Currently, Ghana’s active cases stands at 1,139 and the death still at 320.
