Convenor of the #FixTheCountry movement, Oliver Barker-Vormawor has been released from police custody after meeting his bail conditions.
Oliver was arrested on February 11, 2022, over claims that he had threatened to cause a coup if the government went ahead to pass the controversial Electronic Transaction Levy.
Although he was granted bail on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, he had to spend another night in police custody due to some challenges regarding his bail conditions.
The Tema High Court granted Mr. Barker-Vormawor bail in the sum of GHS 2 million with two sureties.
