A Ghanaian pastor based in Florida, Sylvester Ofori, 35, has been arrested after supposedly killing his wife by shooting her, according to cops in Orlando, USA.
Ofori killed his spouse, Barbara Tommey, 27, outside the Navy Federal Credit Union near the Mall at Millenia, Orlando authorities said Tuesday. He is presently in custody.
The incident happened on Gardens Park Boulevard in Orlando Tuesday early morning. Authorities say Barbara was a worker at the credit union.
Detectives say Ofori shot his wife near the front door of union. After the incident searched for Pastor Ofori and arrested him in his apartment.
However the shooting was caught on camera.
“You can tell that she’s trying to get inside. Unfortunately, he shot her outside of the establishment,” the Orlando Police Principal stated.
A witness named as Lisa said she saw the entire incident as she was waiting outside prior to the bank opened up. “I shaken up right now, I’m still shaken up,” she said on a TV network.
Videos are circulation on social media showing Pastor Ofori threatening his wife in front of his brother-in-law and the other showing their wedding videos where both were really happy.
