
Professor Emmanuel Yaw Benneh, a senior law lecturer at the University of Ghana, Legon was mudered over the weekend according to his family.
He was found dead at his residence at Adjirigarnor in Accra on Saturday with his hands and legs tired up with marks showing that he was stabbed with a knife to death.
The police has since picked up four people who used to work in his house assisting the police in investigations after they have come up as suspects says Efia Tenge, the Public Relations Officer for the Accra Regional Command of the Ghana Police Service.
The police arrived at his residence of Saturday with an investigation team from the Criminal Investigation Department of the service after a called was made to the them reporting the death of the lecturer.
Prof. Benneh’s family have express confidence in the police to bring the perpetrators to book.
