NPP National Organizer, Sammy Awuku has called on Ghanaians to reject Nadtional Democratic Congress flagbearer, John Mahama because Mahama is an obstacle to the development of the youth in the country.
Speaking on The Point of View on Citi TV, he said the NDC government failed to implement policies for youth development.
“Mr. Mahama remains the biggest obstacle to the advancement of our youth development. In 2008, the NDC did promise that they will legalize Galamsey activities so there was a mad rush for people to go into that venture yet the government at the time stayed aloof. They did not regulate these activities and this led to the pollution of our environment.” he said.
On the issue of Okada legalization, Mr. Awuku said asked “The NDC under Mr. Mahama, for the avoidance of doubt, declared Okada business illegal. It was under him [Mr. Mahama]. So now, is it one of the mistakes he wants to come and correct?”
He has urged electorates to vote for President Nana Akufo-Addo and the NPP because they have programs that develop the youth in Ghana in the upcoming elections to be held in Ghana.
