Ghana Waves App
Controversial Ghanaian journalist and former TV3 presenter, Bridget Otoo has trivialized the hoax Shatta Wale created by arguing that Nana Appiah Mensah (NAM1) had committed a grave crime and deserved to be in prison.
According to her, it was quite baffling for Shatta Wale to be jailed for creating a hoax about an attack on his life while NAM1 whose through his gold dealership company Menzgold scammed Ghanaians is a free man.
In a Twitter rant, Bridget Otoo said NAM1’s actions and inactions have caused the lives and livelihood of many Ghanaians thus if there were anyone to be imprisoned, it should definitely be him and not Shatta Wale.
She stressed that NAM1 should never be a free person while Shatta Wale be punished for his mundane act of indiscretion.
“Shatta Wale is in Ankaful prison for his stunt. NAM1 is chilling in his east legon mansion for scamming people. NAM1’s scheme has killed people, rendered others jobless and others still have their funds locked up!. #FreeShattaWale”
