Super Eagles legend Daniel Amokach has fueled the rivalry between Nigeria and Ghana ahead of the huge 2022 World Cup playoff later this month by shading the Black Stars.
Amokachi said in a viral video that Nigeria were absolutely ready for the tie, however, believes Ghana aren’t, saying the four-time African champions don’t even have a venue to host their home leg and are confused.
He filmed the video at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja, where Nigeria’s home game will be played, and said the facility was ready, adding that the pitch was in very good condition.
“We are at the Moshood Abiola Stadium. We are all ready. Look how beautiful the pitch is, look how beautiful the stadium is. We are very ready. But some people are still looking for a venue, some people are under confusion,” Amokachi jokingly said.

Ghana are considering a last-minute switch after concerns were raised about the poor condition of the Cape Coast Stadium pitch.
The pitch was badly damaged during the celebration of Ghana’s 65th Independence anniversary on March 6.
According to reports, GFA has made a request to FIFA and CAF for the match to be played at the Baba Yara Stadium, Kumasi which was reopened not long ago after undergoing rehabilitation.
Ghana and Nigeria will lock horns twice in the space of four days with the winner qualifying for World Cup in Qatar. The first leg will be played on March 25 with the return leg on 29 March.
