Ghanaian musician, Livingstone Etse Satekla who is known as Stonebwoy has called out an official of the Ghana Music Rights Organisation (GHAMRO), Rex Omar for attacking him.

This comes after Rex reacted to Stonebwoy’s earlier comments that he has only received GHC 2,000 as royalties from the organization.

In his reaction, Rex said in a recent interview on Hitz FM that Stonebwoy became a member of GHAMRO in 2019 adding that it is not everybody who even knows the real name of Stonebwoy to be Livingstone Etse Satekla.

Feeling offended, Stonebwoy reacted to these comments by taking to his verified social media handle on Twitter to write;

“Exactly like how? How many people are supposed to know an artist by their real names for the royalty system to work ? Tell me how many people know DADDY LUMBA’s Real Name.

So if the Fans Don’t know the musicians by their real names there’s No Royalties for them?.
The matter has now become the ARTISTS vrs GHAMRO. How? When ghamro is supposed to work with and for the artistes.

Rex Omar And @Ghamro_official please put away the defensive and attack mechanism against artistes stop throwing dust into the eyes of the people. we have had meetings to no avail.this royalty issue has been since you were a young artiste. are you happy about the state of affairs?”
