The President, Nana Akufo-Addo has asked Ghanaians not to give John Mahama the opportunity to use the presidency to correct his mistakes.
He said the presidency is not an avenue to correct mistakes.
Speaking at a rally a Amasaman as part of his tour of the Greater Accra Region, the President said “The Presidency of Ghana is not for trial and error. It is not a place for correcting mistakes. It is a place for working; positive work and positive contribution to the development of our country.”
He also said the New Patriotic Party has laid a foundation for development and needs four more years to consolidate its gains.
“The New Patriotic Party has the blueprint for the development of our country. We have seen the foundation being laid in Akufo-Addo’s first term of the Presidency. The second term is going to see the fruition and confirmation of the blueprint and the development and rapid transformation of our country,” Nana Akufo-Addo said.
The President is currently on a tour of the region and will be visiting Ablekuma West, Dansoman, Mallam Market and Agbobloshie.
He end the tour at the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency.
