We will deal with the EC- former Energy Minister

Former Energy Minister, Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah has said that the minority caucus will deal with the Electoral Commission.

The National Democratic Congress MPs today, December 22, 2020 marched to the headquarters of the EC to present its petition to the commission to re-collate the Techiman South Constituency election results.

The group however were stopped at the Ridge Roundabout by police officers led by the Director of Operations for the Accra Regional Command of the Ghana Police Service, DSP Kwesi Ofori.

But the MP-elect for Ellembelle, Mr Kofi Buah said speaking on the sidelines said “I think the important thing is that we are very disappointed in the Electoral Commission and the Electoral Commission will pay a price to the Majority in Parliament.

“We vow never to deal with this Commission.” he added.

The NDC has been demonstration across the country after the EC announced that President Nana Akufo-Addo as the winner of the presidential race.

The opposition party has also accused the EC of conniving with the New Patriotic Party to rig the parliamentary seats which according them, they won majority of the seats.
