A man believed to be 66 years old has been found dead in a guest house in Koforidua.

Mr Agyei drove a Red Toyota Corolla with registration number ER 1614 -17.
The deceased, who checked in Adom Guest house as William Agyei lodged there with a 25-year old lady on 19 December 2020 was found lying motionless when the receptionist entered the room in an attempt to clean after several bangs on the door went unanswered.
The lady who checked in with the man was, however, nowhere to be found.
The owner of the guest house reported the incident to the Effiduase police.
Investigations began on the scene.
The investigators found several medicines, including, One vigrx for men, Deep heat spray, Unirob polar ice gel, bendroflumethiazide tablets and several other used tablets in a bag found in the room.
A red bag containing some clothes of the deceased and a black handbag containing an amount of GHS2000.00 were also found.
No marks of violence were spotted on the deceased’s body except foaming on the mouth.
The body has since been conveyed to St Joseph’s Hospital Morgue for preservation awaiting autopsy.
Meanwhile, the deceased’s car has been taken to the police station for safekeeping, as well as the items found in the guest room.
However, efforts are being made to trace the identity of the said young lady and the family of the deceased to assist investigations.
