The government has extended the working time for the three-member committee probing the happenings at Ejura in the Ashanti Region.
This comes after the committee requested for more days since there are more testimonies to listen to.
“Considering the testimonies yet to be taken, the committee is requesting for an extension of the deadline to complete its work by Friday, the 16th day of July 2021,” a statement from the committee explained.
In a response, the Interior Minister said “Your request for the extension of the working period from Friday 9th July 2021 to Friday 16th July 2021 is hereby approved.”
However, the family of the late Ibrahim Mohammed also known as Kaaka has recused itself from the hearing.
