Kuami Eugene says that he is not angry at Sarkodie over the supposed endorsement of the President in his new single ‘Happy Day’.
Sarkodie released his new single, Happy Day on Monday and social media users have said he has endorsed the New Patriotic Party’s presidential candidate, Nana Akufo-Addo due a verse in the song.
Speaking on an Accra base Onua FM, the VGMA artiste of the year said “I don’t have time to fight with Sarkodie so I don’t understand why people are saying I am angry at Sarkodie. I did a song as a musician helping a boss in music.”
Kuami Eugene said the song is a thanksgiving song and not a song of endorsement.
“I only did a thanksgiving song. Sarkodie asked for my help which I accepted. I did my chorus for him so whatever is going on, I actually don’t have a hand in it. The song is trending so we have to let go of any issues.” he noted.
