Ghanaian and Crystal Palace forward, Jordan Ayew has tested positive for COVID-19 after his international duty with the country.
He confirm this in a tweet saying ” Sadly, I have tested positive for COVID-19 and I have begun my quarantine in line with the health guidance.”
He also said he is feeling fine and do not show any symptoms.
“Thankfully, I am feeling fine and do not have any symptoms. I will be cheering the boys on the from home and look forward to being back on the pitch soon.” the tweet added.

Jordan Ayew did not play for Crystal Palace game against Brighton and Hove Albion in the English Premier League today due to him testing positive for the virus.
Manager of the Crystal Palace, Roy Hodgson after the game disclosed that Jordan could not feature in the match because of the positive test.
“Yes, [Jordan] tested positive after returning from international duty with Ghana like many other Ghanaian players. We were quite happy for him to go but has now returned and can’t play. I don’t know when he’ll return but like all he has to follow the government guidelines so I don’t know.” he said .
