If you have not heard of Kumerica before then I will assume you just came from the hinterlands or you just arrived in the country. Kumerica is a combination of two words, Kumasi and American.
Kumerica started as a joke on social media with people comparing towns and cities between these two cities. Some of these compared towns are Adum liken to Manhattan, Buokrom to Brooklyn, Kejetia to New York City, Tafo to California and many more
As if that was not enough, social media users broke the Internet with some products and paraphernalia of this movement of people coming from Kumasi. They have their own flag, cap, ring, bus, passport, and even visa.

Kumerica also has its own pledge which shows how patriotic they are to this nation of movement.
The next time you visit Kumasi, know that you are not just in Kumasi but you are in a new nation known as Kumerica and you a Kumerican.
