King Promise says hip-hop and highlife duo R2Bees shaped his mind in his music aspirations.

The afrobeat singer and songwriter, Gregory Bortey Newman, who became well know in the year 2017 when he released ‘Oh Yeah’ expressed his appreciation for the massive contribution R2Bees have been towards his musical career.

Discussing this with Adesope on YouTube, he said that “I feel like meeting R2Bees is what shaped my mind to the level and extent that made me aware that there was a global space I needed to occupy.”

R2Bees is a musical duo made up of Mugeez and Faisal Hakeem who received a nomination for BET Awards in 2013. R2Bees featured King Promise in ‘Picture’ released in 2019.

Going further, the Legacy Life Entertainment record label signee added that the mindset and how the musical duo advance in their musical projects is something exceptional. He believes the duo don’t limit themselves to ordinary opportunities.

King Promise is currently promoting his recent single titled ‘Slow Down’.
