The Minister of Information, Ursula Owusu Ekuful paid a visit to legendary Kofi Laing popularly known as Kohwe of District Colonial Court and Keteke fame.
She visit him over the weekend on his sick bed after he fell ill for sometime now.
Kohwe left his work at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1965 to pursue a career in acting and comedy.
Paying a tribute to him on Facebook, the MP for Ablekuma West said “I had a hearty conversation with the one-time vibrant man. I assured him to hold on to life and be hopeful as some of us will continue to support and allow God to do his part.”
Kohwe, last year appealed to Ghanaians and institutions to take of the aged actors before they die.
