The Interior Minister, Ambrose Dery has declared Monday, December 28, 2020 a public holiday.
This comes on the back of this year’s Boxing Day Holiday falling on Saturday December 26.
“President Nana Akufo-Addo has by an Executive Instrument, in accordance with Section 2 of the Public Holiday and Commemorative Days, 2001 (Act 601), declared Monday, December 28 as an additional holiday and should be observed as such throughout the country.” the Interior Minister said in a statement on Wednesday December 23.
