Natives of Akyem demonstrates over Sakawa comment

Citizens of Akyem Abuakwa Traditional Area yesterday demonstrated former Head of state John Mahama for his “Akyem Sakawa Boys” remarks in reference to the Agyapa Deal.
The locals defined the comment as ethnocentric, just as President Nana Akufo-Addo also classified it throughout his meeting with Catholic Bishops Conference.
The natives numbering over 5000 dressed in red and black clothes gathered at Asamankese yesterday, Wednesday, to start the demo with some wielding placards birthing engravings such as “Mahama is shameless; Mahama stop these insults and JM enough is enough you are warned”.
