Presbyterian Boys, Legon (PRESEC) was crown champions of the just ended National Science and Maths Quiz yesterday, October 8, 2020.
Presec beat Opoku Ware Secondary School (OWASS) and Adisadel College (ADISCO) at the finals with 36 points at the end of the contest.
Gakpetor Daniel Kekeli, Benjamin Quarshie Nketsiah and Isaac Kofi Gyamfi were the team for Presec.
This is the sixth time the school had won the coveted price making it the school with the highest trophy of the academic contest.
ADISCO were the runner’s up with 31 points and OWASS came up at third place scoring 21 points.
Aburi Sec Tech was adjudged the school with a impressive run as a less endowed school and Holy Child School was adjudged as the best Girls Schools.
President Akufo-Addo has congratulated Presec on his Facebook timeline saying “Congratulations to PRESEC Legon for emerging victors in the #NSMQ2020. Winning #6 makes them the undisputed kings of the competition. Thoroughly well-deserved, and I look forward to welcoming them to Jubilee House soon.”
