The President, Nana Akufo-Addo will start a four-day tour of the Ashanti Region today, November 4, 2020.
He will on his first day of the tour inspect the Fomena hospital and will open 450-bed boys’ dormitory block at Fomena T.I. Ahmedyya SHS.
The President will also inspect the construction of the new Edubiase Sports Stadium and also inaugurate the Obuasi Campus of KNUST.
The second day of the President’s tour will see him attend a durbar and interact with the Chiefs of Foase. He will also cut sod for Boankra Inland Port and open the affordable housing units at Asokore Mampong.
Still on the second day, Nana Akufo-Addo will inspect the President J.A Kufuor SHTS and open a 60-bed capacity hospital at Dabaa. He will later commission a 2-storey administration block at Atwima Nwabiagya North District.
On Friday, the President will attend the Farmers’ Day programme at Techiman and will inspect a construction of an abattoir at Kotoku right after the event.
The last day of the President’s tour will see him attend a one-week memorial observation of the late Dr Kwadwo Nyantakyi at Ahodwo. He will then commission the new Bekwai Hospital. He will also inspect the Creative Arts SHS and open a TVET at Methodist Technical Institute both at Kwadaso.
On the same day, he will interact with various leaders of churches and para-church organisations in the Ashanti at the Power Chapel Worldwide.
