US-based entertainment website, TMZ, has reported that U.S. Customs Agents have arrested Vic Mensa for allegedly entering America with a stash of mushrooms from Ghana.

The rapper was taken into custody Saturday at Dulles International Airport outside D.C. … where he had just returned from Ghana.

According to TMZ, law enforcement officers confirmed that Vic was pulled aside for a secondary search, after which he was found to have entered the country with the mushrooms.

We’re told the feds are still testing the substance they allegedly found to confirm it is what they think it is.

Vic was booked for felony narcotics possession.

Fun fact: Psilocybin (the scientific name for the plant) remains a Schedule I substance under US federal law — although there is now a push in some states for its legalization after some communities successfully decriminalized it.
