The Electoral Commission boss, Mrs Jean Mensah has once again reiterated that the commission is committed to conduct a free, fair and transparent elections come December.
Addressing a press conference in Accra, she urged Ghanaians to disregard the claim of rigging the elections.
“As we have emphasised time and time again, the Commission remains committed to conducting free, fair, credible, transparent and peaceful election. We entreat you our dear citizens to disregard any allegations of rigging and assertions of a flawed electoral process and election by any individual or section of society.” she said.
Mrs Jean Mensah also noted that the transparency of the process should give voters the assurance that the elections will not be rig.
“The transparency of our processes should give confidence to the citizenry that the Electoral Commission cannot rig an election.”
